Personnel, vehicles, equipment, inventory, etc. can be monitored at
a central location with COMP*IDENT Exit/Reader Monitors by VIP.
Designed to provide a clear visual and audible indication of conditions
which exist at up to three reader locations, thus providing staff personnel
greater feasibility of consistently seeing or hearing the current status
and responding appropriately.
(Typical surface mounted installation) A flush mount exit monitor is
also available.
The electronics are all contained in a durable molded 5" x 7" box with a heavy brushed aluminum front panel which affords good protection for the circuitry, simplifies installation and is consistent aesthetically with other COMP*IDENT System components. It is important to note the absence of a reset device at the Exit Monitor. Staff persons MUST RESPOND to Egress Alarms and reset the system at the exit where difficulty is detected and attention is necessary. Additional Exit/Reader Monitors may be installed to accommodate multiple exits and also can be situated in several central locations when necessary. A paging system is also available to inform key staff persons whenever response conditions exist regardless of their proximity to exits or monitor. Individual pagers can then be issued as required.
