Dies In Car Crash 6/18/04

Toby was so proud of the Ginsberg he shot in the 9th inning in the 2004 A.B.D.A. National Championship Tournament. He insisted on a photo before the darts were pulled from the board. It has been posted with other tournament photos from 2004 at this link:

Toby James Herring, 25, of Tremont, died Friday, June 18, as a result of an automobile accident in Tremont Township.
Born in Pottsville, June 17, 1979, he was a son of Darlene A. Seiger Herring, Tower City, and Robert L. Herring, Kissimmee, FL.

He was a member of United Steel Workers, Sharpshooters Dart Team of Tremont, and Legion Pool League.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are his fiancee of five years, Nikki Leinninger, with whom he resided; a son, Toby James Herring Jr., at home; a sister, Trisha Marie Herring of Fort Myers, FL; two step sisters, Kayla and Elizabeth Goodwin; a niece and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, from the Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont, with the Rev. Liddy Howard officiating. Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont, is in charge of arrangements.
